Zlotworks uses the official WhatsApp Business Platform from Meta. You connect your own WhatsApp account to Zlotworks through a Meta sign-up window. You stay the owner of the number and the account.
Checklist
You must be the Zlotworks account owner. Admins and team members can't connect WhatsApp.
1. A Facebook login that can manage your business in Meta You'll sign in with Facebook in the Meta window. If your business already has a Meta business portfolio (Meta Business Suite / Business Manager), you must be an admin of it. If you don't have one, the Meta window creates it for you.
2. A phone number that is not on WhatsApp right now The number must not be in use on the WhatsApp app or the WhatsApp Business app.
- A new SIM or landline works well.
- To use an old number, first delete the WhatsApp account on it (WhatsApp → Settings → Account → Delete account). Chat history on that phone is lost.
- The number must be able to receive an SMS or a voice call for a one-time code.
Connecting a number that is still on the WhatsApp Business app is not supported yet.
3. A business website (recommended) Meta asks for one. It also helps later when you verify your business.
4. The name customers will see Pick your display name before you start — usually your business name, e.g. "Zlotworks". See Choose or change your display name.
5. A card for Meta's charges Meta charges for some WhatsApp messages directly to you, separate from your Zlotworks plan. You add a card in Meta after connecting. See Add a payment method.
What you don't need to start
- Business verification is not needed to start. It raises your limits later. See Verify your business with Meta.
- No developer account, app or API keys — Zlotworks handles that.
